Ys IX- Monstrum Nox is an action-adventure, role-playing, and anime video game developed by Nihon Falcom. This game takes place in the prison city, which has a rich history. The player becomes the monstrum by a mysterious woman when he is trapped in prison and attempting to escape In this game, the objective of the player is to protect the city from the shadowy creatures. Throughout the game, the player has to find the truth behind the unrest in Balduq.
